Simple Steps for Removing Mirror Backing

1.  Place a stencil onto the mirror backing to define a shape

2.  Rub the backing paint and silver off of the selected area on the mirror backing.

3.  Place artwork, photographs or any object inside

Example - Fairy Mirror with oval and butterflies

Apply the Mirrorcraft Stencil to the  backing of a Mirrorcraft Mirror.  The stencil has the shapes of the fairy, butterflies and oval with border cut from vinyl. Where these shapes are cut, the paint will be exposed and can be removed.  Where the vinyl remains will remain mirror.

 Use the eraser with silver remover to rub the paint and silver from the edges of the design.

Soften the backing paint and then scribble with the eraser to break the paint up.  Silver is now visible.
